How To Figure Your Table and Chair Rental Cost

If you are looking to start up a rental business to the local public for parties, events, and other special occasions, one of the first things you will need to do is determine what you will charge your customers to rent each piece of equipment. We can work you up a quote to give you a delivered cost for your equipment. What you need to figure out is how much you want to rent your tables and chairs for. Rental pricing varies across the US. A single chair can rent anywhere from $1 each to $5 - $6 each. The more elegant chairs can go even higher than that. It's not hard to figure out how many times you will need to rent your equipment before you start profiting from it.  This form below will give you some insight for what you should set your rental costs at. Adjust your rental cost per unit higher or lower if you are aiming at a certain number of times you feel your equipment needs to be rented to start profiting.

Enter the individual cost of the equipment you plan on renting. (Example: If you are buying 100 chairs and it will cost you $1100 including tax and shipping cost, then your cost per chair is $11)

How much do you plan on renting a single unit of this equipment for?

You will need to rent your equipment this many times to break even.
