Walmart Recalls 73,400 card table sets. Reported Finger Amputations
Walmart is in the process of recalling about 73,400 card table and chair sets due to reports of injuries coming in. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commision, injury reports varied from sore backs to whole fingers being severed.
The sets were sold at Walmart stores across the US and through their online stores from May 2013 through November 2013. The tables are Mainstays card table sets that included a black padded metal folding table and four black padded metal folding chairs. If you are unsure if you purchased one of these tables, simply look on the bottom of the chairs and you will see a white label with “Made by: Dongguan Shin Din Metal & Plastic Products Co” printed on it.
Customers are advised to immediately stop using the set and return it to Walmart for a full refund.
