Which Parts You Need For Your Folding Chairs

It's always a good idea to take measurements of any replacement parts you need for your folding chair prior to placing an order. If you are still unsure after measuring your chairs frame, call us and we will be able to point you in the right direction. At FoldingChairsandTables.com, every Chair Rep has the knowledge of every chair and table part that we offer to our customers. If you have a question, give us a call. This guide will provide an easy way to determine what you need, and which size part will fit best.

Folding Chair Foot Caps

End caps, foot caps, chair tips, are those little pieces of rubber or plastic that keep your floor from looking like a scene in a horror film. No one ever thinks of these until they fall off, or break. Occasionally the foot caps can outlast the lifespan of your folding chair, but like car tires, they eventually need replacing. The diagram below is the same our staff uses to determine which size caps you need without needing you to bust out the measuring tape. This is about 99% accurate, but there are a few select chairs that might fit the criteria below and still not fit, so it's best to still measure to be absolutely sure.

Stability Plugs & Stability Caps

The plugs and caps, sometimes called "Stabilizers", are the little parts that either plug or go over the tubing of the frame above the seat, below the back of the chair when the chair is opened. They help with the support of the chair and it gives the frame of the chair a place to rest when someone is sitting in a chair. Both the plugs and the caps fit a 7/8" frame. The plastic folding chairs are designed so they do not use this part. Refer to the diagram above to determine your type of chair. There are several different types of stabilizers. They are designed to fit most types of folding chairs.

Ganging Clips & Ganging Clamps

The clips/clamps attach to the bottom legs of a folding chairs so you can create straight rows of your chairs that can not be easily moved. Certain workplace safety codes require companies to use these parts for added safety, especially when an event has hundreds of people, and hundreds of chairs for them to sit in. If there is ever an emergency where people will need to get up and leave quickly, your inventory wont be thrown all over the place. These aren't necessarily a replacement part, but more of an accessory to your folding chairs.

If you are still unsure about certain measurements or which parts would work best for your type of folding chair. Please call us. We would be happy to assist.
